Substitution of Parts

At times we are out of stock on particular items
By allowing us to substitute items we can fill your order faster

Example #1:
Customer orders a YUASA NP127 12V 7A.h. battery, we are out of stock. We have an ELK 1280 12V 8 A.h battery in stock. If the customer requested substitution, they now would receive the larger battery at the same price.

Example #2:
Customer orders 10 BROWN Ademco 940 Surface mount magnetic contacts, we are out of stock. We  have 5 BROWN and 5 WHITE  in stock. If the customer requested substitution they would now receive 5 BROWN and 5 WHITE contacts.

Example # 3:
Customer orders 500' of 22/4 stranded burglar alarm wire in WHITE. We have GRAY in stock. If the customer requested substitution they would now receive the GRAY.

Substitutions will be made only if you check the "YES" option button
 on your Web Order Form as  shown below.

OK to substitute items?   YES   NO 

If the option button IS NOT checked, we will not substitute
you may incur additional shipping charges as well as delays in your order
